Harihara - panchaloha

Harihara is a sacred form where Lord Vishnu (Hari) and Lord Shiva (Hara) appear as one unified being.

They are two expressions of the same Supreme Lord — one who maintains (Vishnu), and one who transforms (Shiva).

Paramahamsa Vishwananda teaches that “Shiva is the greatest devotee of Narayana, and Narayana is delighted by Shiva’s devotion.”

Harihara shows this divine friendship and mutual love embodied as one single Being.
