Lakshmi Diya Lamp

A Lakshmi Diya Lamp is a traditional and popular lamp used in our worship. The goddess Maha-Lakshmi is portrayed as seated on a lotus, flanked on both sides by an elephant (Gaja). Used for puja, the illumination from the lamp represents the removal of darkness and ignorance and is a reminder of the light of God within us.
