Lord Ganesha

Lord Ganesha is the elephant-headed deity known as the granter of success and remover of obstacles. Because of this, he is praised at the beginning of every puja and yagna to ensure its success. The son of Shiva and Parvati, he represents the mind's intelligence and wisdom.
