Vishvaksena

Vishvaksena (or Viśvaksena) is the chief minister and the commander of the army of the Lord. He is responsible for removing the obstacles in one’s path, similar to Ganesh. In Vaiṣṇava pūjā, opening prayers are given to Him to protect the ritual and ensure the success of the prayer, so his presence is ideal for any temple altar.
