About this Collection: The mini murtis in this series are replicas of the deities in residence at the Bhutabhrteshwarnath Mandir in Shree Peetha Nilaya, Germany. Paramahamsa Vishwananda Himself was very pleased with the efforts made to bring these replicas to the Bhakti Shop, and we are very happy to offer them so that they can grace your own home as well.

Mahavatar Babaji is, of course, the 5,000-year-old immortal yogi who has given all the forms of Kriya Yoga to the world, including Atma Kriya Yoga. This murti is a replica of the form of Mahavatar Babaji seen on the main altar.

His presence is a reminder of the importance of the guru in our tradition, and that no spiritual goal can be achieved on our own: the grace of the master is indeed a blessing in our lives. In a sense, no altar is complete without a murti of the master.
