NAMDEV HANUMAN
Description
Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s ‘Namdev Hanuman’ is a unique depiction of Namdev as Hanuman. The image reflects the epitome of devotion. Namdev was an incarnation of Uddhava, Krishna’s best friend. Hanuman—the eternal servant of Lord Rama—represents devotion. Hanuman, a warrior, is shown with his weapons laying on the ground, surrendered to the padukas of his Lord. He is holding a musical instrument—something that is not what he normally does—showing that he is willing to do whatever is being asked of him. Are you?
